It has begun

I have finally given in to the prevailing winds of popular opinion and entered the blogging world.  Given the way in which I am perceived the name is more than appropriate.  However, maybe more than coffee stains will appear on this site but God only knows whats going to happen.  Anyway remember this wise thought "Life is like cheese".

Where does the light shine?
For the darkness surrounds me
And as I spin seeking, searching, striving
For what is greater, higher, purer
Than anything that I have known
Than anything that I can dream
The darkness swirls
Wrapping its choking chains around me
And yet still I spin
For I know that there must be more than this
And as I wait
The darkness fades
The light begins to pour over the lands
Of darkness which I know
And still I spin
The world begins to shine before my blinded eyes
The beauty, the glory, the joy of life revealed
Only from the depths of darkness could such beauty shine
And still I spin
But now I spin for joy, for glory and beauty revealed
With the rising of the sun
